Hollywood Undead

"Notes From The Underground"

Label: A&M/Octone Records

Hollywood Undead's Notes From The Underground (an ironic title as this is the band's third major label release) finds them returning to the tongue-in-cheek, party rock flavor of their early releases.

Heavily influenced by Linkin Park, P.O.D., Disturbed and Fall Out Boy, Hollywood Undead are part of the latest wave of pop hard rockers making their presence known on commercial rock radio and music television. Borrowing from TV's Seinfeld ("Not that there is anything wrong with that!") Hip-Hop tinged rockers "Pigskin, "Lion," "Dead Bite" are catchy fun and will provide a nice soundtrack for summer road trips, gatherings and the beach.

Unfortunately, Hollywood Undead, despite the band members' gimmicky masks, are too indistinguishable from the glut of similarly themed artists to be memorable."
